Future Presences

In the elusive moments when the playful mind drifts away, the glimpses of an immediate and distant future can be seen. Half a sentence of a story started but never finished, a photo never taken but imagined, or a song that pops up in one’s mind opens a window for the future to sneak in. I will spend 52 hours hunting, not for those moments that passed so they are not forgotten, but for those that are promised, so they might be.
